LEVELS I FIELD
Acquired skills:
- Comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of the world of tribology
- Understanding of lubricants, their use, and inspection
- Ability to maintain devices and associated equipment
- Install sample measurement devices and know how to use portable instruments with the correct intervals
- Master the sending of raw data
LEVELS II TESTING AND ANALYSIS
Acquired skills:
- Know how to configure instruments for basic tests
- Calibrate instruments
- Establish operating procedures for sampling, collecting, preparing, transporting, selecting locations, methods, equipment, and supervising installation
-Apply test methods, know how to sort results according to specifications and operating procedures
-Liaise with the laboratory
-Acquire basic analysis techniques, know how to prepare reports, give recommendations, improvements, corrective actions, and manage associated databases
-Master the use of lubricant monitoring technologies
- Know how to provide guidelines to field personnelKnow how to configure instruments for basic tests
LEVELS III EXPERT
Acquired skills:
-Master the interpretation of test methods, standards, codes, specifications, and operating procedures
- Choice of analysis technique for different machines
-Establish route plans, monitoring and quality programs
-Establish alarm levels, targets and machine limits
-Manage and interpret results in depth, analyze failure modes, their effects, and critical levels
-Able to put forward specifications for new monitoring modes
-Make advanced recommendations and be able to guide or find improvements for the lubricant
-Evaluate the influence of different chemical and physical properties on all systems involved in lubrication.
-Know how to guide and structure the work of the other 2 levels, as well as evaluate budgetary approaches.
